The Monitor Audio Studio 20SE's is still to this day 2009 year one of the very best speakers out there. I've had a pair of these for over 10 years and there still GREAT!!! They are so very musical. They simple disappear and soundstage like no other speaker I've ever heard and I've just about heard them all!!!!! .

Studio 20's are a very musical, well imaging speaker that are considered a standard by many. The GR series is designed to play louder, sell for less and is tailored more for home theater use. Two different design concepts, in my opinion. I love the sound of the Studio series but the GR's are no slouch either.

Monitor Audio Studio 20SE I have recently bought a new pair of speakers and am now selling my Monitor Audio Studio 20SE's. They were bought new in about 1999 from Sevenoaks in Chelsea and are in cherry. I've used them with integrateds pre/powers and valves. The better the amplification the better they sound.
