If you hold the CDC button down on the Audio 20 for at least 3 seconds and you get "AUX" come up on the display then you have the auxillary interface available.......otherwise no ability to interface the iPOD without going to Comand. Our SLK280 with standard Audio20 doesn't have the AUX function unfortunately.

My Car: 54 plate, C Class Coupe Audio 20 I installed the Mercedes ipod kit, the only thing thats works on the steering controls are next track and volume. I went to Mercedes they linked the stereo onto the star machine so all steering controls work. They couldn't close the ring circuit down - still no wiser!! Any ideas what i need to do.

It's a 203 - 2005 C200K SE The connection for the Aux input should be under the passenger door sill trim. Press & hold CDC for a few seconds & Aux Input Active should appear on the screen of the Audio 20. The Aux lead costs £15 & the whole job takes less than 15 minutes.
