A crossfeed on top of that would perhaps only unnecessarily reduce soundstage even further, but I thought meier was pretty good about knowing when it was needed and really only being noticeable with recordings that have an extreme stereo image. Ideally, if you want a recording to be good on headphones, do a binaural recording with a dummy head.
