I'm trying to convert a VOB (MPEG-2) to an H.264 codec in a mp4 container. However, I'm getting audio video sync issues in the converted file that doesn't exist in the original. I'm using the following settings for audio: Nero Encoder, LC-AAC, 128kbps I'm using the following settings for video: H.264, MP4, 768kbps

I tried again with an audio delay of -400 ms but all that did was reverse the delay, putting it out of sync at the beginning of the video instead of the end. Does anyone know why mediacoder refuses to encode my video at the original 24.97 fps instead of 25.00? I suspect that if I could get it to do that it would fix the problem.

MediaCoder v0.8.26.5566 is excellent for doing that. The MP4s come out perfect with everything in sync and no loss of quality. However, when I updated to v0.8.27.5570, copying the video and audio to MP4 did not work properly. MediaCoder reported "file successfully transcoded" but when I tried to play the produced MP4, nothing happened.

I am using the excellent MediaCoder to convert large vob movie files into mp4 & avi files. I can reduce the bitrate alot thus making the files much smaller. The picture and sound turns out great. One problem though - the sound and video are slightly out of sync. What settings must I use in MediaCoder to overcome this problem? Thank you.
