Media Player Home Cinema played it using AC3 filter but only played stereo out the SPDIF connection although I could see all channels with changing volume in the AC3 filter settings. So I think if I had a HDMI connection from the HTPC I could play it OK. My WD Live media player, played the file in stereo as music.
