If other players work, but not MPC, then reinstall MPC. If it's a particular type of audio, like AC3, you probably don't have the codec installed. Try VLC.         I would like to know how I could use the same AC3 audio codec from Media Player Classic - Home cinema- MPC in Windows Media Player (WMP).
