The 600D/T3i already has manual audio control, but right now it's not possible to change audio settings from Magic Lantern. You can only use audio meters during recording. I've switched to Tragic Lantern, which seems a bit more stable, and which provides wired remote functionality via Audio RemoteShot. My main issues are: 1) the gridlines disappear, and 2) the AF box disappears when you half-press the shutter button, so you see focus cofirmation. Both of these issues occur when in the ML/TL screen.
