The jack is the same jack used in the Macbook. Unfortunately, it sounds as if the jack itself is broken which is why you have no sound from the internal speakers. Unfortunate because repairing this will likely envolve replacing the jack outright and it is soldered to a board. Also, finding the proper jack may be impossible.
