I have the ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe and my on-board audio has never worked since I got the board. But I had planed on using a better (Razer) sound card anyways, so wasnt that big of a deal for me. After doing a lil research and reading a bunch of forums/reviews, the ASUS M2N boards are rock solid, besides having audio issues.
