The keyboard of the M-Audio Hammer 88 has a counterbalanced hammer action, giving you a great quality keyboard compared to the Keystation. In function controls, both offer modulation and pitch bend wheels, octave buttons, transport buttons and a volume fader.

Thanks to continued innovation over the course of nearly a decade, you’ll find that the Oxygen 88 controller has a solid, reliable build—and puts as much musicality into the keyboard as it does into the complement of other MIDI controls. And since it’s lightweight for its size, it’s the perfect way to go from studio to stage and beyond. Features

Oxygen 88 - good or bad?! - Gearspace.com

As far as I can tell, the only keyboards matching my needs are the CME UF80 and the M-Audio Oxygen 88, and it seems like the UF80 is out of the question as I've heard many bad things about it. The Oxygen, on the other hand, I've heard very mixed reviews of. Some find it to be great, some think it's a toy.

I'm not sure what the top surface of the M-Audio Oxygen 88 is made out of but it feels more solid. The keys feel good similar to a real piano and I own an Oxygen 49 so the controls feel familiar. This keyboard does exactly what I expect it to do. Pro Tools, Native Instruments Kontakt, and Native Instruments Maschine all recognize it.

The keyboard is both velocity and aftertouch sensitive and feels pretty good; a little too springy for our taste, but perfectly playable. The pads, however, are excellent – they respond musically to varied playing pressure, with the display updating to provide the most recent velocity setting when tapped. (Image credit: Future)

X-Session Pro - Oxygen 88 ... So I got the software from M-Audio website to change the CC's but when you open it the X-session Pro isn't listed! Come to find out there's supposed to be an additional update to install the profile for the X-session in the Engima software. That software is no where to be found on M-Audio's website!
