firewire audio devices utilizing the bebob (i think that’s what it’s called) chipset are supported by the freebob project. the freebob site doesn’t specifically mention the firewire410; but, it does list the m-audio firewire solo. it’s possible that these two devices use the same chipset… but, like i said, the freebob page doesn’t specifically mention the 410.

Maybe. The problem is that the M-Audio 410 / 1814 does not support the AV/C commandos for device discovering. Though for transporting the signals the IEC 618863-6 standard is used.
