I just started trying to use the Fast Track with a Shure SM58 dynamic mic and find I need to have the gain almost maxed get a decent signal for recording. I am using Mixcraft 4.1 build 93. I am running the Fast Track Pro via USB power with about a 12 foot usb cable.
