There is a Monitor Mix knob in the lower right corner of your M-Track/M-Track Plus. Turn it all the way to USB to hear audio from your computer. Definitely disable your sound card/on board sound, that should take care of it. Obviously, you'll listen from the fast track via headphones or outputs as you won't be able to listen from the computer with the device disabled. I found the asio 4 all drivers work best for me. Try the stock maudio audio drivers or use ASIO4ALL (only use if audio drivers don't work). What your hearing is prob a bypass of your main input. Audacitys input output are blank because it has no audio/wdm driver available. You then choose input # and output # for your record settings. Try checking windows device manager and see if there are any !
