M-Audio DMP-3 preamp mods?? I have a DMP-3 and I'm a little disappointed at the amount of noise induced through the preamp, even at low gain levels and with the attenuator switch engaged. This mod on the DMP3 is really about finding the compromises in the circuit and see what happens when they are taken out. The 75 Hz rumble filter for example puts a voltage divider in the audio path even when turned off. The DI puts 2 electrolytics in the audio path, Yikes.
