    Hi, This is a persistent and very discouraging problem for a lot of Ubuntu Studio users. I am running a new installation of Ubuntu Studio 9.10 with an M-Audio Delta 44 sound card. Jack is running fine right out of the box. System/Preference/Sound Hardware tab shows ICE1712 {Envy24}PCI Multi-Channel I/O Controller. Input tab shows the same.

    Hi. I currently have an m-audio Delta 44 card running in Ubuntu Studio 9.10 with JACK 2. It works really well... However, I am wanting to add an additional audio interface to the PC, while still keeping the Delta. I need something with an XLR input, and any other inputs would also be a bonus.

    Okay, so like a lot of people, I was happy using 9.04 and hadn't done my research on 9.10 and lazily upgraded. Now, there's no sound. I use an M-Audio Delta 44 PCI card with Breakout box and it was working fine with all previous versions [after a bit of wizardry ;-) ] but nada this time around.
