Hi Im going to replace my M-audio BX8a monitors with KRK RP-8 Rokit The BX8a are good sounding, but a bit heavy and muddy on bass! But only thing that I am not sure about the KRK RP-8 Rokit cover 45Hz - 20kHz in frequency response but the M-audios go down to 40Hz!

The BX8a's gave me the impression of a hi-fi speaker more than a studio monitor. If I were to picture an equalizer setting to match the response the BX8a's give out, it would look like a smile with a dip in the mids. The most noticeable differences between the BX8a's and the RP8's are the highs, and the lows. The highs are overbearing.

The price for the m audio bx8 are £250 for a pair, however the krk and pioneers are £400 for the pair.
