I've joined this forum because there's posts here by people who've actually HEARD 0f the M-Audio Audiophile 2496! I'm just using a notation package and plugins - Proteus (the legal free version!) Edirol Orchestral (also legally purchased) and other freebie VSTs I found on the Net. I can hear the music I'm making perfectly.

All the cards played files very well but multi track recording was so so. I was frustrated and wanted a simple card to use for a home recording studio. I have heard about M-Audio and decided to give the Delta Audiophile 2496 card a try. It's an older card made by M-Audio and works very well in Windows 7.
