    1.Copy All files from Macintosh HD /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/. 2.Paste to Macintosh HD/Users/your user name/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/. 3.Click on Replace All. Next time when you start logic it will scan all audio units only once and the scan wont reoccur in every subsequent startup.

    Re-scanning for my audio units [SOLVED] Sun Oct 27, 2013 10:17 pm. Whenever I shutdown my mac, restart and open up either Logic X, Logic 9 or Mainstage 3 my system rescans looking for all my audio units (plugins) why is this? does anyone know? I have an idea I'd rather wait for the responses though 1st.
