From using the fuser -v /dev/snd/* /dev/dsp* command, I was able to do a couple days of research, the command told me flash was trying to use /dev/dsp, so I had to reinstall the alsa-oss package, that seemed to fix it for a while.

From what my brother told me, he installed nspluginwrapper and nspluginwrapper-flash, and linked it to his firefox by following a tutorial. This got flash VIDEO to work, but the audio is not being output through the x-fi card or the x-fi drivers. Sorry for the earlier posts, I'll be taking over on this issue from here.
