    I love Langston Hughes’ poetry, and was excited to find it in the anthology’s “History” section. Since taking Literature and Jazz with Professor New and listening to the audio recordings of Hughes reciting his poetry in that class, it’s hard to read his poetry without hearing it through his deep, rhythmical, sing-songy voice.
