There are several aftermarket Bluetooth solutions for the GL1800. I have a J&M bluetooth module that I use to connect my iPhone. I pretty much think it suck for phone operation though. But it works pretty good for just getting audio from the phone to the stereo, and it uses the CD controls to change tracks up or down.
