Great sub for the money, but not for the those whose main interest is sound quality. I just bought one 10W0 the other day from a friend who had it for two months. It's contained in a JL Audio Powerwedge box and powered by a JL Audio 300/2 amp. About a year ago I owned a 10W3v2 powered by the same amp so that is my reference.

I got 2 10W0s in a PowerWedge box, made by JL. They''re wired in parallel to for an overall impedance of 4 Ohms. Their recommended power is 250W, but that is a very low-ball figure. I''ve got 450W RMS running through these puppies and there is no stress in them at all.

I have 2 jl audio 10w0's in a bandpass box and one jl audio 15w0 in a sealed enclosure currently wired in series/parallel with the 15" sub firing upwards with its phase reversed 180 degrees. All three subs are wired to a cheap 200 watt amp and they SLAAAAAAM extremely hard.
