June 23, 2010. I was a little skeptical of how much bass a 2" thick sub could actually put out, but my 13TW5 is no joke. It puts out more bass than my 2 old Rockford 10's I had before it. I am running this sub off of a JL 500/1v2 and it hits hard and loud.

JL is expensive because of the quality. there are far cheaper out there that do moer power. the thing with JL amps is they do power from 1.5-4ohms. no other amp will do that. the tech is a lot better than most also. if you want to spend a little less look for a mono amp that does. 600-750 at 1ohm.
