I have the same problem. with a IOMEGA Screenplay Director with Windows 10. I've tried several times your procedure to uninstall the USB controller related to the IOmega device and let windows 10 recognize it back, but no way ... the system doesn't recognize the device (via USB), while another machine with windows 7 does it.
