First try changing inputs on your receiver then your TV. (ie from DVD to TV and back to DVD) I don't mean the cable, I mean just the input you have selected. It could be a handshake issue. Also try reseating your HDMI cables. Maybe one of them is loose. Also, are you bitstreaming audio via HDMI or sending it as LPCM?
