Have not tried HD Graphics 3000 to AVR, but I have used HD 4000 and an VERY old Nvidia 130m. I do have access to a Sandy Bridge HD3000 laptop, but it's been years since I tried connecting that. In both cases, supported bitrates using default drivers always showed PCM 2, 5.1, 7.1up to whatever the AVR supports.
