I connected the HDMI directly to the TV and ran the optical connection to the Bose receiver. This solved the video issue and I now get 4K. However, the Intel Display Audio driver was automagically installed and now I only get Stereo as an option. Is there a way to get 5.1 audio? I downloaded the SSU scan utility and ran it. I just picked up an Intel NUC5i3RYH. I have hooked it up to my 7.1 Channel Receiver (Sony STR-DN1010) to use as an HTPC. It is hooked up with an HDMI cable using a Display port adaptor to the NUC. I'm not receiving any digital sound in 5.1 or 7.1 audio, only 2 channel.
