The infinty amp is still there and still powers all the speakers as it always did. the 2x10 is a stereo cab so left and right from the infinity are going left/right to the sub.

I have the Infinity Audio System with amp in my 2002 Limited. Installed 2 ohm speakers in the rear and sound was awful with tons of distortion at most volumes. Replaced with 4 ohm speakers and the sound is great! Both the original speakers were blown out so I couldn't test for ohms and there were no specs on the speakers.
