The meter showed a signal there, but no audio. I could turn it off then back on and it would work for a while. I looked around for help and found that this problem was not uncommon for this radio. Simple fix. Remove the bottom cover (with the front facing away from you). In the top right-hand corner there is a audio IC with 5 legs sticking out.
