    Since I installed Snow Leopard... When opening iChat (5.0.1) for the first time of the session, the "Video" icon disappears (Phone icon replaces it) and iChat claims there is no camera connected. Closing iChat and re-opening it seems to have the opposite effect : Phone icon is replaced by Video icon and I can use iChatAV properly.

    I would love to try this but the instructions on that website point to non-existent places in Snow Leopard. Namely: "From the Apple menu, choose System Preferences. From the View menu, choose Sharing. Click the Firewall tab." There is no Firewall tab under Sharing in OS 10.6 and the Firewall tab under Security says I have no Firewall enabled!
