The difference is that it is much easier to specify installed recommends in a running bash script on a per app basis than it is in Debian Live.

I think as IceWeasel is a fork of Firefox, it might not have this feature, or it might have to be enabled. There is other HTML5 stuff you could test here , then you could find out whether it is the media plugins or html5 support...

Does anyone know if Iceweasel (Firefox) runs HTML5 audio/video in a separate process that can be restarted? With Flash I can restart plugin-container after changing the sound card in ~/.asoundrc. With HTML5 audio/video it seems like I need to restart the whole browser, which at times can be a bit inconvenient.
