hi to all on android forums, I have searched the net inside out looking for a solution , my HTC one x apps have no sound , my phone will ring alarms will sound , notifications will sound but any apps on my phone will have audio only now and again , most of the time will not work at all , can anyone help me out here , any help at all very much appreciaed

I've got the exact same problem on my phone, no audio in/out whatsoever. Anyone knows a fix for this, or any information if this is a hardware or software problem? My HOX is a 3UK branded with HBOOT 1.39, SID H3G__001, RADIO 5.1204.164.30H.

You need to plugin a headset/headphones; Drag down your notifications bar, and hit 'Settings' Click on 'Sound' You'll notice the 'Sound enhancer' menu is now not greyed out; Tap this and you'll then get a choice of 'Sound enhancers' to use

After that I uninstalled Advanced Task Killer and boom !!! My sound run normal no crash , no end, no problem. I hope is ok ! . Now I just listen music to see if the problem is fixed . If something is happening I will post again , if not ( I hope ) this is the solution !!! P.S. my phone is Htc one X international version
