I have the jl e1400d and I forget how I did it, but I downloaded the manual online and it tells you exactly how to adjust it. you have to get a 0db sound file on a cd and play it at 3/4 volume and get a voltmeter and turn the input sensitivity I believe up or down until you hit a certain amounts of volts.
