HLDJ playing songs too fast. HLDJ was working great up until today, where now whenever I load a song it plays really, really fast. As it was working before, I don't think it's a problem with the conversion, but with HLDJ. This has happened while playing CSGO but I haven't yet tested it with other source games.

You found this program called HLDJ and gave it a go, only to discover that all your songs/sounds were playing twice as fast, resulting in a high pitched playback. Apparently, this is because HLDJ uses 11,025 Hz as the bitrate when converting your mp3s to wavs, while CSGO now apparently requires 22,050 Hz.

in HLDJ folder we will have 4 folders: Audio ( where it will get the audio from ) , custom , manual and MP3. The original method of using it was dropping it in the mp3 folder and using hldj to convert it into the audio folder to start csgo but since the update we cant do that anymore. thats when goldwave comes in.
