    The NVIDIA HDMI settings have gotten the only positive results to date (see description above of current limited capabilities, only available under NVIDIA HDMI settings). Since this problem does not seem to affect iTunes (but affects Windows Vista by itself), I suspect that this is a problem with the way Vista handles the sound drivers.
