    I use HDMI throughout. The Onkyo receiver is an HT-RC260, no firmware updates available for this model from Onkyo's website. The audio dropout is not repeated when watching live TV and I rewind the show back to the point of the original dropout, which leads me to believe this is an Onkyo receiver problem.
