I've got a few MKV files with DTS audio, when I'm using my DLNA server to play these on my LG TV there's no sound. Google tells me that this is because my TV lacks the codec support so I gotta change the audio codec. But when I try using handbrake it takes somewhere between 5-6 hours to transcode a file.

Your setting would re-encode the audio, Handbrake does not support the pass-thru (copy) of Opus audio.
