I am experiencing an issue with Guitar Hero Warriors of Rock where songs will develop a video lag that starts out negligibly small and gets worse as the song progresses. For most songs it is not even noticeable, but there are a few songs in the game where the lag is very apparent and it really interferes with the gameplay.

Audio lag 0. Video lag 5 ... Throws me off pretty badly trying to get used to a new setting so I pretty much stay with the default setting for Guitar Hero as it's pretty leniant when you hit the note. I can hit it at least a full half beat after the note passes and still get credit for the note.

Watching a bit of that video, it suggests that RB has separate audio/video calibration settings. GH3 does not. Which, in my experience, means it's nearly impossible to adjust properly if you have both video and audio lag, of different durations. Basically you're hosed at that point, sell GH3 and buy some hookers and blow.

put the game on mute and adjust video lag until you can hit the notes when they cross the target line. also try to hit the notes late and early to make sure you have the middle of the timing window turn on the volume and adjust audio lag until it syncs up with the notes.
