No need for a huge sampler like Battery, Kontakt or Groove Agent to access samples, just drag and drop the file. Cubase sucks at this. First you have to make an 'instrument track', load up a sampler like Groove Agent, open the (absolutely useless) 'sound browser' and if you can find the Groove Agent window again you can drag the files over to it.
