I do not want to pull a separate audio stream from the pc, as I already have a toslink to DAC to amplifier output from the TV which I have properly synced for the display. Do some google searches to make sure it outputs sound as well but it probably does. Most new video cards with HDMI come with a basic onboard sound card. Usually you just have to install a separate driver for that sound card and you are good to go. That is the way mine works, I have a Radeon HD 4850.
