My first R had the standard sound system and my new one has Dynaudio. The standard system is OK and compares to other standard manufacturer systems. If you like your music loud, with depth and bass then £500 or so quid for Dynaudio is definitely worth it. With AC/DC blasting out it can truly hurt your ears when you get to 2/3rd's volume.
