Location: NYC. I believe Golden Tube Audio was a US company not Chinese, they were made in CA. I had SE-40 in the late 90's. It was an OK amp but it had some hissing issues and was soft/warm and forward in the mids. Low-end was also somewhat anemic and soft. I was using it with Klipsch KG-4 speakers.

Also, there is, or at least was, a forum that deals with Golden Tube Audio amps. A google search should be able to locate them for you.
