Try the Polk Audios yo. The RTi or even Monitor series is badass. Or for small stuff do the JBL CS6100. Or for the ultimate, Polk LSi25's towers or LSi9 bookshelves. Priciest but for a damn good reason. yes, i am in Audio. i have listened to all the speakers you mentioned and the Bose AM-series speakers win hands down.

In the mean time, just got my Csi5 center (I bought a refurb from polk audio direct on ebay), and I went with the Sony STRDN840 receiver, but then I got a call from the place I ordered it from and they ran out, so they offered me a free upgrade to a 1040. Pretty sweat deal.

After one year at frys the discount is increased to $750. I think after the 3rd year its either $1000 or 1500. Ask a sup or someone who has been at frys for a while. In the POS there is a way to find out how much you have used. If I had the POS in front of me I could tell you the steps but I don't.
