Red. View Profile View Posts. Oct 26, 2015 @ 4:25am. Try deleting the "ffviisound.cfg" file under Documents/Square_Enix/FINAL FANTASY_VII_Steam. Doing this seems to reset the sound settings, it fixed a problem i had with sound effects. It could be hardware related, i don't know what your setup is.

Hoping for a patch as well. Playing out of tv speakers doesn't work for me but It also means if I try to stream the game and output game sound through HDMI to my capture card I'm getting the same issue. Works fine via headphones but need to figure out a way to translate that to my internal capture card. 1. level 1.
