While WMP 12 plays any video, there is no ffdshow video decoder tray icon, ffdshow audio decoder and Haali Media Splitter only. But ffdshow is configured to show these icons. timing. After installing ffdshow tryouts (which is included in CCCP), the video and audio decoder icons should show up in the sys tray when ffdshow is decoding a video. These icons never showed up. A simple and quick fix for this would be to install Media Player Classic and use that to make ffdshow decode my media, but i wanted to use Windows Media Player.
