The fakes are 2m in length and come in a box that visually appears to be authentic. It has spelling errors on the box that make it obvious that it's not authentic. The cables are more rigid than the real one and also weigh in at 2.5 lbs the real one is 3.5 lbs. Here is the link to PS Audio Forums about this fraud.

I have the PS Audio Statement Speaker cables, and the logo is as shown on the PS audio web site. I purchased then new from a Target HiFi in London. They were 40% off (at the end of the production). It would be nice to see the actual cables in question. The link that was posted for the PS cable from Gear City is no longer working?

A buddy of mine ordered a new PS audio cable off of AudioGon and got a little suspicious of the seller. He contacted PS audio and they said they think he bought a fake cable and wanted to see it.
