I decided to start using Exact Audio Copy due to recommendations here and I want to create WMA Lossless files. Looking at the configuration settings of EAC it looks like I should be able to use WMP as an external program to convert the copied WAV files to WMA lossless.

If not, forget WMA loss-less and use EAC (Exact Audio Copy) to rip to both .wav and .flac FWIW, EAC is the best CD ripper that I've yet used. The .flac site provides a number of quite useful refs: http://flac.sourceforge.net/ Delete the .wav files (if you want) but keep the smaller/loss-less .flac files.

May 24, 2011: I have worked very hard the last 6 month to present you an updated version of EAC, and here it finally comes.
