    In VMwareplayer I installed Linux Mint 19.3., Elementary os, Manjaro 19.1, MX Linux 19, Solus 4 and none of them peoduced any sound. Motherboard sound card is Ensoniq ES1371/Es1373/Creative labs CT2518(AudioPCI 64V/128/5200/Creative CT 4810/CT5803/CT5806 Sound blaster PCI) In ensoniq portal I found only windows driver.
