Outlaw Audio vs Emotiva - AVS Forum

The Emotiva stuff is not even in the same league as the Los Angeles / ATI Built Outlaw Audio Gear. To use an analogy, Outlaw Audio is a Toyota - very solid, well-built and reliable car and the Emotiva is a Yugo (ie a death trap, hope it does not break down on you in the first month of ownership).

The ATI/Outlaw is one of them! The Emotiva does rate all 7 channels, but only into an 8 ohm load (not as difficult as 4 ohms) and does not specify the bandwidth! This would indicate that the Outlaw has a more rigorous power supply! Also, we are talking 93 pounds for the Outlaw and only 53 pounds for the Emotiva.

Outlaw rr2150 or the emotiva pt100/a300. Both have more than adequate power and current. Emotiva has better digital input options. Outlaw has bass management if i add a sub. The emotiva is current, outlaw was discontinued 3 years ago but available as new b stock. Hard decision. Don Szymansky, Apr 27, 2019. #1.

Emotiva: Good Deal or the Real Deal? - Sound & Vision

How can Emotiva, Outlaw Audio, ATI and others produce amps, pre/pro, cd players, speakers, etc which perform on the level of the "High End" big boys of the business (Krell, Mark Levison, Classe, Bryston) yet cost so much less? I've seen the reviews of Emotiva gear, and the measurement numbers are impressive.
