Just wanted to post a quick review of my Dynaudio Focus 220 Mk2 Speakers. I had purchased them based on consumer feedback,online reviews and dynaudio's reputation. I seriously cannot believe i spent 4000 for a product that i didn't audition ! I never did that b4. But Hifi shops are are very few and far between.

I have long been a Dynaudio fan, especially of the discontinued Contour 1.8mk II, for which the Focus 220 is the contemporary replacement. Great imaging, very natural tonal presentation, tight, tuneful bass, crsip, airy highs, and a natural midrange balance. Focus 220 II is rated to 32Hz (hard to know what the manufacturer means but measured roughly to -6dB point). Comparing with Dynaudio Excite X32, I'd say the Focus 220 goes lower but is a bit flatter in its low level response. For all the setups, the high cut is set to the lowest possible 50Hz. First impression was "Wow, that's nice".
