Dynaudio Focus 220 Loudspeaker - The Absolute Sound

    https://www.theabsolutesound.com/articles/dynaudio-focus-220-loudspeaker-1
The Focus 220 is a floor-standing model, simple and handsome. It matches in looks and undoubtedly in sound quality the others in the Focus series, a home-theater package with satellites, center channel, and subwoofer. This could be a boon for those who want to expand into multichannel sound.

Just wanted to post a quick review of my Dynaudio Focus 220 Mk2 Speakers. I had purchased them based on consumer feedback, online reviews and dynaudio's reputation. I seriously cannot believe i spent 4000 for a product that i didn't audition ! I never did that b4. But Hifi shops are are very few and far between.

Stereo Impressions: Review: Dynaudio Focus 220 ...

    https://stereoimpressions.blogspot.com/2016/04/review-dynaudio-focus-220-floorstanding.html
Dynaudio Focus 220s are an interesting pair of transducers capable of delivering any genre of music with great satisfaction. Just don't let their "sleeper" like appearance deceive you. They are indeed bassy (fast, deep, round, rich) and never dry. Maybe not the last word in aesthetic design nor in absolute resolution or transparency.

Dynaudio Focus 220 Floorstanding Speakers user reviews : 3 ...

    http://www.audioreview.com/product/speakers/floorstanding-speakers/dynaudio/focus-220.html
This review is for Focus 220 speakers. Dynaudio has launched a new range of speakers called Focus. They say that these speakers should sit in between the Audience and the Contour line. I intended to replace my old 72, and I got a pair to hear with my system. I do not own them. I must say that I've heard a lot of Dynaudio speakers in my time ...

Dynaudio Focus 220 (£2630) | Hi-Fi News

    https://www.hifinews.com/content/dynaudio-focus-220-%C2%A32630
Dynaudio Focus 220 (£2630) Along with the Spendor A6, Dynaudio’s Focus 220 – now in Mk II guise – is the most conservative looking speaker here. Whether you consider that a merit or demerit will depend on both your taste and your décor. Also like the Spendor it is a two-way, although in this case the soft dome tweeter is accompanied by ...

High-end Focus 220 II floor-standing speakers - Dynaudio

    https://www.dynaudio.com/discontinued-models/focus/focus-220-ii/
The Focus 220 II is a highly developed floor-standing loudspeaker embodying Dynaudio’s passion for music. Like the predecessor Focus 220, this floorstanding loudspeaker relies on two Esotec+ mid/bass drivers with an advanced double magnet system. For the new 220 II version, the bass reflex port has been fine-tuned to achieve an even tighter ...

Dynaudio Focus 220 vs Gallo Ref 3 - AudioReview

    http://forums.audioreview.com/speakers/dynaudio-focus-220-vs-gallo-ref-3-a-20413.html
I have long been a Dynaudio fan, especially of the discontinued Contour 1.8mk II, for which the Focus 220 is the contemporary replacement. Great imaging, very natural tonal presentation, tight, tuneful bass, crsip, airy highs, and a natural midrange balance. Check out a very favorable review in the Absolute Sound that appeared about 5-6 months ago.

Three way speakers - Audio Science Review (ASR) Forum

    https://www.audiosciencereview.com/forum/index.php?threads/three-way-speakers-ideal-listening-distance.6968/
#1 I've been using a pair of Dynaudio Focus 220 mkii for the past year and really enjoyed them. The upgrade bug bit me and I recently purchased a used pair of Dynaudio Focus 340, a three way speakers. I have a large open space room (living room + dining room + kitchen + hallway) so I tought the bigger 340 would more easily "pressurize" the room.

Subwoofer for Music - Yamaha YST-SW90

    https://mysoundreview.blogspot.com/2018/07/subwoofer-for-music.html
Focus 220 II is rated to 32Hz (hard to know what the manufacturer means but measured roughly to -6dB point). Comparing with Dynaudio Excite X32, I'd say the Focus 220 goes lower but is a bit flatter in its low level response. For all the setups, the high cut is set to the lowest possible 50Hz. First impression was "Wow, that's nice".
